Remote
Sensing is not just the stuff of scientists and their satellites.
Remote
sensing is being used around the world to address everyday problems
facing many groups such as environmentalists, city planners, law enforcers, historians
and farmers. One
application of remote sensing and agriculture is the use of remote sensing in
vineyards. This web site will examine the history of remote sensing and vineyards, how and why satellites and other sensors became useful to wine makers, review what sensors are being used and a compilation of images and related links including recent research papers on the use of remote sensing and vineyards.
